The Windmill AC was designed to work in windows that open up and down (single- and double-hung windows) with the following dimensions:
8K & 10K BTU
The window should have an open width of 23-37 inches and open at least 14 inches high.
6K BTU
The window should have an open width of 22-36 inches and open at least 13 inches high.
The Windmill AC should NOT be used with:
● A wall sleeve (as a through-the-wall unit)
● Slider windows
● Casement windows
● Other non-single/double-hung windows

The 6,000 BTU air conditioner easily cools rooms up to 250 square feet, while the 8,300 BTU room air conditioner cools rooms up to 350 square feet.
