• Can I adjust the height of the fan?

  No, you cannot extend the neck of the fan to adjust the height. If you need it higher or lower, you can always try the fan in different spots throughout the room (nightstand, dresser, wall shelf, floor, etc.).

• Can I use my Windmill fan outdoors?

  No. It was designed for indoor use only.

• Does the Windmill fan oscillate?

  As this is a small room air circulator, it does not oscillate. You can tilt it up and down 65 degrees with our Easy-Tilt Adjustment (no annoying clicking noises as you adjust the fan up and down!).

• What makes the Windmill fan unique?

  Why do mostly all fans look the same? We’re not sure either. We designed a home decor piece that just happens to be a fan 🙂.

• What is the warranty policy for the fan?

  The Windmill Fan comes with a 5-year limited warranty. To register your fan or learn how to make a warranty claim, go to windmillair.com/support.

• What is the return policy?

  There is a 30-day return window.

• How long does shipping take?

  It usually takes 1-2 business days for our warehouse to process the order and then another 2-5 business days for standard shipping (contiguous U.S. only). Of course, it can be faster depending on when you order and where you are located!

• Where do you ship to?

  We ship to the contiguous U.S. only, for now.

  When a fan is pointed at you, the faster moving air (from the fan) displaces the warmer air in direct contact with your skin. The result… you feel cooler! And because you feel cooler, you can raise your AC thermostat a few degrees and use a lower AC fan speed, which then saves electricity. Fans for the win!

• What makes the Windmill fan more eco friendly?

  The fan has internal parts made with 50% recycled materials. It also connects to the Windmill Air app, so you can shut it off remotely and avoid unnecessary energy usage. And, we use a more efficient DC fan motor (which makes the fan much quieter as well!).

  What does it mean that your fan has internal parts made with 50% recycled materials?

  One of our goals is to find the most impactful ways to be eco-responsible when we build and bring to market new products. For the air circulator and fan, we chose to make as much of the internal parts out of 50% recycled materials as possible.

  Frankly, we wanted all the parts to be made with recycled material, but this degrades the plastic and makes some of the parts unstable. So, we have to balance being eco-friendly with delivering quality, durable, and reliable appliances. We are always looking for ways to be better and use even more eco-friendly materials. As we grow our business over time, we will enhance and add to our environmental initiatives.

• What outlet does the Windmill Fan require?

  Standard 120 V 2-prong outlet

  
  This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, the plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug doesn’t fit in fully, reverse the plug. If it still doesn’t fit, contact a qualified electrician. Don’t attempt to get around this safety feature by forcing the plug into the outlet.

• How many fan speeds are there?

  There are 5 speeds and indicator lights: Whisper (1), Low (2), Medium (3), High (4), Boost (5)
